1956 Plans for installation of a new plant at Ellesmere Port, bringing the number of factories in the UK to 8.

1956 Agreement to merge with Eburite Corrugated Containers[1] forming Bowater-Eburite, making corrugated fibreboard containers at North Acton, Croydon and Ellesmere Port (under construction)[2]
