1966. The British Motor Corporation (BMC) merged with Jaguar and the Pressed Steel Co to form British Motor Holdings.
BMH inherited a number of British automotive marques:

1968. BMH merged with the prosperous Leyland Motor Corporation to form the British Leyland Motor Corporation (BLMC).
