1949 Vitafoam Ltd. was founded by Norman Grimshaw at Glen Mill, Oldham.

1967 British Vita Co incorporated as a Limited Company to acquire the share capital of Vitafoam.[1]

1968 Acquired the Clyde Rubber Works Co.[2]

2020 Company trading. see Vita Group. Claim 2,800 employees across 37 sites in 14 countries.
