1896 Dissolution of the Partnership between John Brotherton and Francis Simms carrying on business as Tube Manufacturers at the Excelsior Works, Commercial-road Wolverhampton under the style or firm of John Brotherton and Co.[1]

1897 At an Extraordinary General Meeting of the Company held at the Victoria Hotel Wolverhampton it was agreed that the Company be wound up voluntarily.[2]
