Brown, Sons and Pickles, Barnoldswick
- Formed in 1938 by merging the assets of Henry Brown and Sons and J A Pickles.
- Millwrights, machinists and founders .
- Henry Brown and Sons made small steam engines from c.1913 to c. 1928.
- A donkey engine was supplied to Nutter and Co., Barnoldswick, in 1914. [1]
- Lathes for machining shells were made by Henry Brown and Sons in WW1 and by Brown, Sons and Pickles in WW2.
