1917 June. Advertisement. J. Street Ltd, Metropole Garage, Blackpool.[2]. This is Josiah Street.[3]

1919 April. Advertisement. Brown and Mallalieu, The Metropole Garage, Blackpool. Sole agents in Blackpool for Belsize.[4]

1926 Converts to Limited company. '...the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us, the undersigned, John Brown and John Edgar Mallalieu, carrying on business as Garage Proprietors and Motor Car Agents and Salesmen, at Blackpool,in the county of Lancaster, under the style or firm of BROWN AND MALLALIEU, has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 30th day of June, 1926. The business has since been and will be in future carried on at Blackpool aforesaid by Brown & Mallalien Limited...'[5]
