G. W. S. Burdett of Eastgate, Peterborough, were machine tool makers.

Established in Wentworth Street in 1923 by Mr. G. W. S. Burdett. 1931 purchased a factory in Eastgate. By 1958 there were two factories at Eastage, No. 1 undertaking engine refurbishment, and No. 2 producing machine tools, specialising in slotting machines.[1]

1956 Advertising as IC engine reconditioners.[2]

1966 'B. Elliott and Co bought G. W. S. Burdett, the Peterborough machine tool makers last November'[3]

1968 Elliott-Burdett Ltd advertising for skilled machinists.
