1853 Advertisement: 'NOTICE is hereby given, that the PARTNERSHIP heretofore subsisting between the undersigned JAMES BURNLEY, WILLIAM NICHOLS, WILLIAM WESTERMAN, GEORGE RICHARDSON, and STEPHEN SIDDALL, as machine and tool makers, and carried on at Leeds, in the county of York, under the style or firm of "Burnley and Co.," hath been this day mutually DISSOLVED, so far as relates to the said William Westerman and Stephen Siddall, and that all debts due to or by the said partnership, will be received and paid by the said JAMES BURNLEY, WILLIAM WESTERMAN, and GEORGE RICHARDSON by whom the said business will be continued, at the same premises, under the style of "Burnley, Nichols, and Richardson," Dated this Fifth day of April.....'[1]
