1973 Manufacture of parts by structural foam moulding began, carried out by a company that was part of the Pye Group. Made cases for radio and television set manufacturers.

1980 The moulding business was transferred to C. I. (Polymers) when the company previously operating it was transferred from Pye to another part of the Philips Group. The business served computer manufacturers and makers of business machines, as well as washing machines

1981 Part of Cambridge Electronic Industries when it was incorporated as a plc.
