1876 Company founded. The Callendar Iron Co was established with capital raised from Mathew Hay, William Graham and George Binnie; and land feued** from William Forbes of Callendar.

1884 Maker of rainwater goods.

1912 The Company was incorporated with the registration number SC008336.

1918 Private company formed.

1923 Went into liquidation.

1924 It was re-incorporated with the registration number SC013098.

1929 The company joined Allied Ironfounders.

1933 Name changed. Amalgamated with Abbotts to form Callendar Abbots Iron Co Ltd.

1936 Entered liquidation.

1937 It was re-incorporated with the registration number SC019779.

1937 Listed Exhibitor - British Industries Fair. Trojan Combination Grate. Stainless Steel Grates. Register Grates. Interiors. Mantel Registers. Enamelled Mantel Registers. Barless Fires. Baths. Lavatory Fittings. (Stand Nos. B.609 and B.508)

1959 Name changed. The company was merged with Dobbie, Forbes and Co to become Callendar Abbots and Dobbie Forbes.

1961 Iron founders, manufacturing cast iron domestic solid fuel heating and cooking appliances and rain-water and soil goods.

1964 Company was dissolved.
