1865-8 In business as a paper manufacturer at Hurstbourne Mill, Hants[1]The Hurstbourne Mill at Whitchurch was fitted out for him by Mr. James A. Lee with machinery for making wood pulp using his patented process. Mr Roeckner later wrote to The Engineer pointing out what had been done there.[2]
Then was in business as a patentee of paper mill machinery, including providing engineering services concerned with the erection of his design of machinery.
