1926 A scheme of consolidation of electricity companies in parts of London was undertaken by the London Power Co Ltd

1936 The London Power Co scheme was taken over by London Associated Electricity Undertakings Limited

1938 Six of London's West End electricity companies amalgamated to form Central London Electricity Limited. The largest companies were the County of London Electric Supply Co, which also supplied to parts of Essex and Surrey, and Central London Electricity Ltd.

1948 The Central London Electricity Ltd was nationalized[1]
