1870 Partnership change. '... the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, James Chadwick, John Smith, and Robert Rostron, under the style or firm of Chadwick, Smith, and Rostron, at Bolton, in the county of Lancaster, as Ironfounders, was by mutual consent dissolved, as from the 4th day of August, 1870, and that as from that day the said trade or business will be carried on by the said James Chadwick and John Smith, on their own account, under the style or firm of Chadwick and Smith...'[1]
