Charles John Fourdrinier (1794-1832)

1794 Born the son of Henry Fourdrinier and his wife Sarah Ann Walker

1819 Bankrupt. '...against Joseph Fourdrinier and Charles John Fourdrinier, of Rickmansworth, Herts, Paper-Makers Dealers and Chapmen, and they being declared Bankrupts...'[1]

1822 Married Sarah Elizabeth keys at Bloomsbury. Had Fanny Susannah (1824-1900), Antoinette Sarah (1828- ), Charles Edward (1830-1841) and Joseph William (1832-1904)

1825 Petition of Insolvent Debtors. 'Fourdrinier, Charles John, formerly of Chell-House, near Newcastle, Staffordshire (carrying on business at Colthorp-Mills, Newbury, Berkshire, in Partnership with Joseph Fourdrinier and Thomas Nicholson, trading under the firm of Joseph and Charles John Fourdrinier and Company, Paper-Manufacturers), afterwards of Croydon-Common, Surrey, and late of No-28, Park-Road, Regent's-Park, Middlesex, following no trade or business.'[2]

1830 Bankrupt. '...Charles John Fourdrinier, of Lostock Gralam, in the Parish of Great Budworth, in the County of Chester, Manufacturing Chemist, Dealer and Chapman, and he being declared a Bankrupt...'[3]

1832 Died in Burslem[4]
