of Wath-upon-Dearne, near Barnsley, Yorks.

Charles Stanley and Son of Wath-upon-Dearne, Yorkshire was a supplier of oils and soaps for the woollen trade.[1]

1867 Charles Stanley, a hardware merchant living in Wath-upon-Dearne, established an oil and manure factory there (and a hardware business in Sheffield). He may have taken over the similar works of Morris, Little and Co in Wath.

Charles Stanley & Son Ltd continued to make soap, oils, and manures at Wath-upon-Deame until well into the 20th century.
