Charles Sturge of Birmingham. Brother of Joseph Sturge

1801 Born son of Joseph Sturge (1763–1817), a farmer and grazier, and his wife, Mary Marshall (d. 1819) of Alcester, Warwickshire.

1822 or later, partnered his brother Joseph Sturge in creating one of the largest grain-importing businesses in Britain. The two also worked together on many philanthropic enterprises.
