1833 'SERIOUS ACCIDENT.--On the morning of Thursday se'nnight, as about twenty workmen in the employ of Messrs. Cheshire and Shelton, brass and iron-founders, in Great Bridgewater-street, were engaged in taking a large casting, about three tons in weight, from the sand, the roof of the building at which they were at work suddenly fell down with the ponderous crane used in the operation, but fortunately none of the men were injured in the slightest degree.'[1]
1833 18 September: Thomas Cheshire left the partnership. Business continued by Richard Cheshire and Thomas Shelton[2]
1834 Listed in Pigot's Directory as Iron and Brass Founders
1835 Partnership dissolved.
