1936 The Chrislea Aircraft Co was formed at Heston, Middlesex, to build aircraft designed by Richard Constantine Christoforides. His partner was Bernard Victor Leak.

1939 Chrislea Aircraft Ltd., of Heston Airport, were the selling agents for the 60 h.p. Walter Mikron motor built under licence by S. E. Opperman.

1947 Heston closed; company moved to Exeter Airport.

1948 Closure. 'One hundred and eighty people working at the Chrislea Aircraft manufacturing plant at Honiton Clyst will be out of work at the end of this week or next. The Board has decided to close the plant because of shortages of raw materials and components.'[2]

1952 Company acquired by C. E. Harper Aircraft Co.
