Christopher Moody (c1865-1929) of Dorman, Long and Co


1929 Obituary [1]

CHRISTOPHER MOODY died at Whitby on June 20, 1929, in his sixty-fifth year.

He was associated with Messrs. Dorman, Long & Co. for over forty years, having joined the Stockton staff as a draughtsman; he ultimately became general manager of the Britannia and Newport Ironworks belonging to that firm.

He was a Past-President of the Iron and Steel Trades Employers' Association.

He became a member of the Iron and Steel Institute in 1917.
