Clayton Engineering and Electrical Construction Co. Ltd., of Newton, Cheshire (originally the Clayton Foundry Co.), electrical power and light engineers, ironfounders and manufacturers of rubber and electrical machinery. 1899-1903 (6 boxes)

Financial and legal papers and correspondence, relating to the mortgage raised on the firm’s property in Newton and the subsequent voluntary liquidation of the company in 1902-1903.
