1957 Company formed as independent subsidiary to develop A. C. Cossor's activities in the communications field, in the first instance by developing mobile transmitter/receivers[1]

1959 Sets were being supplied to police forces, and interest from marine markets, the UKAEA and others.[2]

1960 Offered a substantial range of VHF mobile sets[3]
