Licensed by the Société des Moteurs et Automobiles Lorraine to build their Lorraine engines.

1936 Public company incorporated to acquire the rights in the British Empire to manufacture Lorraine aero-engines, and also marine engines. A new factory would be constructed at Coventry[1]. Facing criticism in the Press, the directors decided not to proceed with the allotment of shares and returned investors' money[2]
