1980 Throgmorton Trust acquired 70% of the shares in Cray but did not want to acquire the remainder[4].
1984 Cray Electronics, focused on engineering, defence systems and equipment testing, was listed on the London Stock Exchange
1985 Acquired Malvern Instruments[5]
1992 Acquired travel business Autofile Ltd
1992 Sold Malvern Instruments to Burnfield[6].
