1963 K. G. (Holdings), electrical and mechanical engineers, changed its name to Crown House Investments[1]

1964 Subsidiary F. H. Wheeler acquired Connaught Contractors (Send); Dema Glass acquired Jones and Co (Glass) importers and distributors of glassware[2]. Acquired Webb's Crystal Glass Co Ltd[3]

1967 Acquired Furse Group from Electrical and Industrial Securities[4]

1968 Acquired Richard Crittall (Holdings), heating and ventilation engineers[5]; formed a new subsidiary, Wheeler Crittall Berry, for the contracting companies that were part of the group[6]

1969 Renovated Webb's Industrial Estate in Walthamstow and let to Baird and Tatlock[7].

1969 Name changed to Crown House.

1970 Acquired National Electrical Supplies, a wholesaler[8]

1971 Sold ROM Equipment of Wembley to Brooks Ventilation Units[9]. Established a property and finance division[10]

1972 Sold Harris Engineering to Myson [11]

1973 Wheeler Crittall Berry was joined with Furse Installations to become Crown House Engineering, in Croydon, which would handle all the contracting activities[12]

1987 Coloroll acquired Crown House, particularly for its tableware activities which included Denby Stoneware, Thomas Webb and Edinburgh Crystal, George Butler cutlery and Dema Glass [13]. Coloroll planned to sell George Butler; the engineering division[14] was also sold to management[15]

1989 Tarmac acquired Crown House Engineering[16]
