1927 Mr D. Balfour took into partnership his son Mr D. Ross Balfour B.Sc, M. Inst. C.E. The firm carried on as D. Balfour and Son at 18, Abingdon-street, Westminster and 3, St. Nicholas-buildings, Newcastle-on-Tyne.[1]
