1925 D. and J. McCallum Limited was incorporated as a private company, with capital of £200,000.[1]

1937 Another private company of the same name was incorporated, with capital of £10,000, to acquire and take over from Scottish Malt Distillers Ltd, the goodwill of D. and J.
