1937 Another private company of the same name was incorporated, with capital of £10,000, to acquire and take over from Scottish Malt Distillers Ltd, the goodwill of D. and J. McCallum Ltd, now in liquidation, and all patents, trade marks, trade names, designs, brands, licences, and similar assets thereof and certain other property and assets of said company.[2]
