1784 Advert: 'WANTED, Five or Six WHITE-SMITHS, Who have been brought in finishing Bath Stove Grates, Iron Book-Cases, &c. By applying to David Walker, Iron-Founder, in Liverpool, will meet with good Encouragement. N. B. He will engage them to work either by the Day, or by the Piece.'[1]
