1894 Antwerp Exhibition. Steam steering apparatus [1]

1894 Antwerp Exhibition. Awarded Silver Medal for Large Mechanical Constructions [2]

1900 Established a works at Oulton Broad for the manufacture of engines and steering gear

c1912 The company was acquired by John Chambers and Sons

Davis and Co also had a small work shop in Gorleston

The company concentrated on compound engines. One type of triple expansion engine was used on Admiralty minesweepers
