1962 Company formed as a subsidiary of De La Rue to exploit the field of thermo-electric cooling and refrigeration. This development occurred as a result of the minority stake acquired in Neeco Cooling Semiconductors of Montreal, earlier in the year[1]

1970 Acquired by Plastelec Group; name changed to Mectron (Frigistor)[2]
