1957 Made numerous lathes: engineers' small, "Boxford" screw cutting lathe, Boxford centre lathe, and lathe tools and accessories. The 4.5" centre height lathes were very popular with model engineers and schools and engineering training establishments.

By 1957 was part of the Owen Organisation

1973 Received support from the Yorkshire and Humberside Regional Industrial Development Board[1]

Became a subsidiary of Brooke Tool Manufacturing Co
