1913/14 and 1922 to 1981

The site started out as a foundry supplying items for agricultural production. Some years after production was moved from Liverton the site acquired a new life as 'The Liverton Art Pottery'.

It was established in 1913, but ran for only about a year. Perhaps the proprietors were called for service in the first World War. The company was re-opened in 1922 by Herford Hope.

1929 Listed Exhibitor. Manufacturers of Art Pottery, Vases, Bowls, Jugs, Teapots, etc., in beautifully blended coloured glazes. Toby Jugs; Simple Simon Teaports; Full-and-Empty Mugs, and other special articles. (Stand No. E.23) [1]
