Docker Brothers varnish manufacturers of High St., Bordesley, Birmingham and London
1877 Established[1]. Dealing in varnish for blacking stoves began, presumably, by William S. Docker
1881 F. Dudley Docker joined the firm. Dudley later achieved substantial change in the engineering industries, especially electrical engineering, in the first quarter of the 20th century.
After 1881 Ludford Charles Docker joined his brothers in the business
1899 Docker Brothers was converted into joint stock company[2].
1901 Ludford Charles Docker and Dudley Docker Ltd were in business in Rotten Park Street, Birmingham[3]
