To be SOLD by AUCTION, by Mr. GIMBLETT, on Monday next the 18th November, and following days till all is sold, on the above premises, the whole of the valuable LATHES and MACHlNERY — consisting of several powerful cast iron slide-bed and other lathes, with compound quadrant rests, slow motion, driving shafts and pulleys; a very powerful self-acting cast iron bed lathe, twenty-five feet long, with patent back motion ; quadrant compound rest and screw-cutting apparatus a screw engine, with dies and apparatus complete; very powerful facing lathe, with back gearing. &c. capable of turning twelve feet diameter, with quadrant rest and cast iron frame ; a very superior self-acting planing machine, made by Messrs. Haley and Co. of Manchester, with driving shaft, pulleys, and apparatus; complete, will plane 11 feet by 3 feet 8 inches ; large and small self-acting boring machine, with cast iron rails, blocks, gearing, fly-wheel and frame complete, capable of boring three feet diameter; a very superior self-acting slotting machine, with tools complete; an excellent eight-horse high-pressure crank steam engine, with boiler, &c. complete; drilling apparatus,shafting pulleys, gas-fittings, &c. throughout, gasometer, retorts, steam pipes, &c. quantity of cast iron cylinders for steam engines, various sizes, wrought iron shafts and cranks, lathe and planing machine castings, anvils, vices, bellows, and smiths' tools, spur, mitre, and rim wheels, quantity rod and bar iron, a complete set of brass patterns, core moulds, &c. for force and hydraulic pumps, beer and garden machines, steam-engine fittings, and plumbers' brass-work, a small bright one-horse high-pressure steam engine, several hydraulic and force pumps, beer machines, garden engines, water cioset motions, earthen pans, Ac; also all the valuable wood-patterns of various machinery ; particulars of which appear in the catalogues, to be had at the office of the Auctioneer, No. 34, Cherry-street, Birmingham.
