Small cast iron bridge built in 1829, crossing the River Rhymney near Draethen, Gwent, South Wales.

An unusual example of an early twin arch cast iron bridge having intermediate cast iron supports.

The bridge has recently been refurbished, some damaged castings being replaced with new items.

Access by a footpath from a minor road which runs east from Draethen village, which is between Newport and Caerphilly. More information and map on British Listed Buildings website [1]
