1846 The company was incorporated.

This 47.5 mile line ran from Grimsby to Boston via Louth and opened in 1848. [1]

1849 Company leased to the Great Northern Railway.

1908 The line is 48 miles in length. [2]

1923 Became part of London and North Eastern Railway [3]
