"Brown.—Recently, at Broughton, near Barrow-in-Furness, Mr. Edmund C. Brawn, agricultural-implement maker and machinist, aged seventy-two. He had been in business in the district for forty years, and was one of the best-known amateur horticulturists. Mr. Brown was a director of the Broughton-in-Furness Water Co."
