Edward Cockey of Market Place, Frome, was listed as an iron founder and brazier in baptism records for his children 1813-1827 (baptism of Susan in 1813, of William in 1814, Francis Christopher in 1815, Edmund, (b.1817), Maria in 1819, of Ann in 1820, George in 1822, Mary Anne in 1825, Frederick in 1827).[1]
1830 & 1842 Edward Cockey listed in Pigot's directories as an iron and brass founder at Bath Street. The foundry was behind Bath Street and Palmer Street.
