Edward Howley Palmer (c1811-1901), East Indian merchant of Palmer, Mackillop, Dent and Co and later Governor of the Bank of England

1811 August 13th. Born in London the son of John Horsley Palmer and his wife Elizabeth Belli

1844 May 2nd. married at Kensington to Jessie Fanny Greville

1901 July 28th. Died at Marylebone.
