EDWIN FREDERICK WARTH, B.Sc. (Birmingham), born in India on the 12th August,1888, died at Alexandria on the 25th June, 1915, from wounds received in action at the Dardanelles.
After gaining practical experience under Messrs. E. Nuttall and Company, contractors, he was employed by them on the Manchester main-drainage works.
Early in 1914 he went to Las Palmas as an assistant engineer on the waterworks survey, relinquishing this appointment on the outbreak of war to join the Royal Naval Division.
He was elected an Associate Member on the 13th January, 1914.
