Elsie Eleanor Verity, F.I.M.

1894 Born Manchester.

Educated at the Central High School for Girls, Manchester.

Manchester College of Technology, and Manchester High School of Commerce.

WWI trained Drivers for Forces.

1922-25, Assistant Manager, Verity's.

1925-43, Manager and Partner, eventually becoming Sole Proprietor.

Member, Women's Engineering Society

WWII Civil Defence worker, also training Forces personnel.

1945 Joined W.E.S. Council

1953 Proprietor, Verity's Garage and Motor School, Manchester.
