By 1891 Arthur Chamberlain had entered the tube-making business through Endurance Seamless Tube and Vial Co.
1896 The company became Endurance Tube and Engineering Co and opened a factory in King's Norton; co-directors, Arthur Chamberlain, his son-in-law John Sutton Nettlefold, and George Hookham.
