1899 A combination of velvet dyers was being organised[1]

1899 Fourteen companies merged to form the English Velvet and Cord Dyers Association. The company was registered on 7 April. [2]

1907 Public issue of shares[3]

1949 English Velvet and Cord Dyers Association changed its articles of association and its name to English Velvets[4]
