ERNEST OSWALD ROWLEY, born an the 31st July, 1886, died at Nagpur, India, on the 3rd April, 1913.
Educated at Dulwich and at King’s College, London, he was first employed on the engineering work of the First Garden City, Letchworth, and was subsequently engaged under Willcox and Raikes, Consulting Engineers, on the design of sewerage and water-supply schemes for various towns.
At the time of his death he was employed by Lane Brown and Hewlett, Engineers, of Nagpur, India.
Mr. Rowley was elected an Associate Member of The Institution on the 5th December, 1911. He held a commission in the Royal Reserve of Engineers.
