F. Hills and Sons of Trafford Park, Manchester built their first aeroplane in 1935.

  • 1849 Company founded.
  • 1936 Public company.
  • 1937 Aircraft manufacturers. "Hillson Praga" Monoplane. [1]
  • The plane was based on the Czech E114 Praga and began in 1936 and ended after 28 air frames in 1939.
  • 1961 Timber importers and manufacturers of doors, plywood, flooring and plastic laminates. [2]
  • Built the Pennine and Helvellyn models.
