Ferranti Cetec - created as a subsidiary of the electrical and electronics group Ferranti.

Cetec was brought together in 1979 to develop a comprehensive system covering design and draughting system, supported by a solid modelling system, together with records management and numerical control programming.[1]

1981 Developed the CAM-X system of which nine prototype installations were now in the field.
