1942 Private company incorporated as W E Hughes and Co Ltd

1946 W. E. Hughes and Co was incorporated as a public company.

1951 Name changed to Ferrybridge Industries[1]

1953 Sold the interest in Burry Tinplate Box Co[2]

1959 The name of Ferrybridge Industries was changed to Pollard Ball and Roller Bearing Co[3]
