Fisher International
1979 Formed from Fisher Controls, a subsidiary of Monsanto, and GEC's process controls and control valve division. It was based in St Louis and had 2 factories in Britain. A new range of microprocessor-based process instrumentation would be launched.
1983 GEC had been moving into the sectors of microprocessor controls and process instruments. . The previous foray into this area, a share of Fisher International, was sold to Monsanto[1].
