1908 The Foxboro Company was established in Foxboro near Boston, Mass, USA.
1931 L. S. Yoxall founded the Yoxall Instrument Company and worked closely with The Foxboro Company.
1934 Partnership between the two companies at Merton, London and the building of a factory to manufacture Foxboro instruments.
Post WWII Second and larger factory was opened in Kidbrook, London.
1950 Third factory was opened in Wandsworth, London to produce electronic instruments
1957 Acquisition of a 52 acre site at Redhill and the building of a 126,000 sq. ft. factory
1967 Acquired Wiggie Manor, on the perimeter of the Foxboro-Yoxall site, which had links back to the 16th century; used as Training Centre.
1968 Supplied feed water control system for the Winfrith power station [1]
1969 work began on a new office wing
1971 The total building floor area ended up at 250,000 sq. ft. with around 1,500 people employed.
