1920 Francis Henry Keast was born in Barrow-in-Furness[1]

WWII One of the 16 members of Frank Whittle's team at Power Jets (which he joined in 1942)

1946 With 3 "office colleagues" he left Power Jets to join the gas turbine division of the English Electric Co at Rugby to continue work on jet engines[2]

1996 Died in Canada
